In June of 2020 a man from the Fiji Islands created a short video on Marie "Little Rose" Ferron of Woonsocket. He came to know about Little Rose through online research and became very touched at how she would keep a beautiful radiant smile despite having to suffer so much for others. He was amazed that she, even now, continues to intercede in people's lives and leave behind the smell of roses. Many thanks, from all of us here at the Rose Ferron Foundation of Rhode lsland, go out to Jerome Chong for his beautiful work and allowing us to share.
In June of 2018, two high school seniors choose Marie Rose Ferron as a topic for a documentary film as their senior project; they had a world of options to choose from. Their decision was to learn more about Little Rose. Their project was approved by their High School and also the Rose Ferron Foundation of Rhode Isand.
The school portion of the project has been successfully completed and they have both now graduated from Smithfield High School here in Rhode Island. While they continue to work on the final editing of this documentary, they have put together a small clip for us to post. Our hope is to bring knowlege of Little Rose to future generations.
