REFLECTION ON LITTLE ROSE
"I feel that through the creation of this Rose Ferron Foundation of Rhode Island, Little Rose is using all our different personalities, faith paths, strengths and even weaknesses.
I was just reading today in her ‘Virtues and Glories’ book about her deep devotion to Mary and how she would offer Mary a different flower for a different virtue along with prayers and good acts and then bind them all together with a Rosary for Mother Mary.
A beautiful bouquet.
I can't help feeling it is the same with the people she is choosing to work for her Foundation."

Father Boyer, Little Rose’s confessor, stated that Rose had a great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and she would say the fifteen decade Rosary every day.
Her devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary prompted Rose to make up a little novena to Mary. Each day she would offer the Blessed Mother a flower which represented a virtue. With each flower she offered some prayers, sacrifices and acts of love. For example, on one day she would offer the Lily which stands for the virtue of Purity along with some prayers and good acts. The next day she would offer a Violet for Humility and offer some prayers and good acts. Each day she would offer a different flower representing a different virtue along with prayers and good acts. On the final day of the novena Rose offered the Blessed Mother the Rose of Charity and bound the bouquet of flowers together with a Rosary and then gave it to the Blessed Mother.
